Adaptation to climate change is a challenge for our society. Adaptive responses require the involvement of society, which in turn will be affected by the impacts of climate change. In addition, certain social sectors or population groups have specific vulnerabilities to climate change that need to be recognized and reduced.
On the other hand, reducing the risks and impacts derived from climate change requires work in fields such as information, education, technical and professional training and the creation of social commitment. In this context, the study of social perceptions of climate risks is of particular interest, as it provides keys to improving communication and social participation.
